After growing up in Mississauga and Oakville, Dr. Peter Gunn relocated to Detroit, where he attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Gunn completed extensive undergraduate studies in biological sciences before pursuing dentistry.
Creating a caring and calming environment is at the heart of Dr. Gunn’s approach to dentistry. He is dedicated to helping anxious patients, restoring smiles with crowns, and supporting anyone needing personalized care to feel relaxed throughout their visits. His mission is to make dental treatment accessible in a smaller town, and he’s focused on treating the person, not just their teeth.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Gunn enjoys spending time with his family and 17-year-old dog, Tom Selleck, going on bike rides, and practicing soccer with his son, Aiden. Married to his high school sweetheart, Natalie, since 2010, he also loves photography and capturing special moments through his lens.
Dr. Thulfiqar Al-Rubaye earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the School of Dentistry at the University of Jordan. He brings a combination of clinical and educational experience and has dedicated his career to providing personalized and compassionate patient care.
A philosophy of welcoming, empathetic care guides Dr. Al-Rubaye’s approach to dentistry, which emphasizes prevention and education. He is committed to ensuring patients feel supported while receiving services that help them achieve long-term oral health. By combining attentive listening with customized treatment plans, Dr. Al-Rubaye’s goal is to earn your trust and help you feel confident in your dental journey.
While away from the practice, Dr. Al-Rubaye appreciates time with family and friends, especially when sharing a meal, travelling, or exploring. (His tradition is to visit at least one new country a year!) He also enjoys staying active through CrossFit and soccer, as well as relaxing with his cat, Chelsea, who loves watching bird shows on YouTube.

Lisa G’s warm, calming presence at the front desk has helped set the tone for a stress-free, positive visit at our clinic since 2011. She is focused on doing all she can to ensure every patient feels excited about their visit and optimistic when they walk through the door. When not connecting with patients, Lisa is usually immersed in a great book, exploring new places, or spending time with her kids and pets.
Alegra’s goal is to help patients feel at peace and positive throughout their visit. Her care philosophy is rooted in kindness and approachability, and she’s dedicated to ensuring that shines through in every interaction. Outside the office, Alegra enjoys volleyball, camping, and spending time with her friends, boyfriend, and family in Tillsonburg.
Lisa S always aims to bring a thoughtful, encouraging presence to every visit. She understands that a supportive environment can influence an individual’s outlook on oral health, which shows in her daily interactions. When she’s not in the clinic, you might find Lisa S working in the garden with her family or tending to a busy backyard filled with pets and chickens.
Nikkee has been working with Dr. Gunn since our practice opened, and she also worked with him at his previous location. She’s known for her friendly demeanour and clear communication. Her goal is to make every appointment feel calm and ensure patients feel supported, as she loves connecting with individuals from all walks of life. Away from the office, Nikkee loves spending time with her two kids, a golden retriever named Boone, and a cat named Shadow.
Katie values personalized and compassionate care that helps patients feel relaxed and at ease. She’s focused on treating others the way she would like to be treated, creating a warm and respectful experience for every patient. Beyond her work in oral health, Katie finds joy in camping, family time, and caring for her German shepherd.
Kaysee joined our practice in 2011 and is passionate about helping patients stay informed. Her care philosophy centres on the belief that caring for your oral health empowers you to make positive choices. Away from the office, Kaysee finds happiness in supporting her three boys during their sports games and relaxing with her pets, Penguin and Brody.
Lindsey focuses on helping patients build strong oral health habits that support lifelong wellness. She knows that caring for your teeth is a vital part of your overall well-being and loves working in an environment that is dedicated to protecting and saving smiles. Outside the practice, Lindsey is often cheering at the rink, spending time with her family, or basking in the summer sun.
Rachel is committed to doing everything she can to help protect smiles and help patients receive personalized home care tips to keep their oral health strong. Her goal is to help stop or detect dental issues when they arise to prevent future problems. When she’s off the clock, Rachel is often out in the community, catching a concert, or cheering on her kids at the rink or field.
Val is passionate about cultivating lasting bonds with the patients who entrust her with their oral well-being. She’s also focused on taking an active role in improving dental health, sharing knowledge, and supporting healthier outcomes through encouragement and clear instruction. When she’s not at the practice, Val can often be found biking and running with her husband and kids. She even ran the Boston Marathon!
As our sterilization technician, Alyssa plays a key role in maintaining a protected and efficient environment. With a strong focus on infection control, she’s committed to ensuring that each patient’s visit is supported by reliable standards of care. Outside our clinic, she enjoys drive-in movies, travelling, and spending time with her beloved boxer, Piper.
